John Reischman’s techniques for “Salt Spring” are truly inspiring. I’d love to hear more about what makes his approach so special and how it contributes to the tune’s popularity.

Noel Hill’s journey from sneaking his brother’s concertina in County Clare to becoming a leading global figure in Irish music exemplifies how passion and talent can elevate an instrument and a tradition to new heights.

"The Kesh Jig" is such a lively tune, and it’s no surprise that it made an impression with Sean Vaughan and Siobhan Peoples leading the session.

Using the Xhosa chord cycle with major chords a tone apart must give the piece a unique and rich sound as shown by Zideki Mangaliso. I’d love to hear how it all comes together on the concertina!

Daddy Long Les always brings something special with his unique tablature. It’s such a beautiful traditional Scottish tune. Looking forward to exploring it! It's great to see an old Scottish folk song explained so clearly.

Brenda Castles is a talented concertina player from County Meath, now based in Dublin. In this video, she performs two beautiful hornpipes by Ed Reavy: The Gypsy Rose and The Lone Bush. Her playing captures the essence of these tunes perfectly.

I also have fond memories of hearing it played at local sessions, and it’s always a crowd-pleaser. The Bothy Band's version is classic! Thanks for the recommendation.
